Buyers often use OEM and ODM together, but the starting point can be quite different.
OEM tea tin projects normally begin with a relatively clear specification. The buyer may already know the required dimensions, lid structure, artwork and filling method. Our job is then to review whether the specification can be manufactured efficiently and consistently.
ODM tea tin projects usually begin earlier. The buyer may know the tea type, target filling weight and desired retail position but may not yet know which existing tin structure, diameter, height or lid combination should be used.

A new mould is not automatically the best solution for every custom project.
Our existing mould library covers a wide range of metal tin structures and dimensions. Where an existing double lid tea tin already provides suitable internal volume and proportions, it can simplify development and reduce unnecessary tooling work.
